if you can show me the path so i can have this done it will be very helpful, i hate having an HO alty for no god **** reason. does it cost much and can i myself do this swap or does it need to go to a shop?

also, when you get your alt can you post results of how it performs? not just idle or output but how the voltage rest while driving or when running components in the car.

Looks like you have a 2005 Civic. Does it have an automatic transmission? If so, I don't know of any tuners who will work with an automatic transmission Civic. I am also not familiar with ECU swaps other than the 1996-2000 Civic. Sorry

yellow top and any other optima is junk get a real battery like the exide marathon 9 yr warranty used in any condition was tested for over 5 yrs in the arctic and sahara desert for duribilty and now the military uses them exclusively. if not get a kinetic or shuriken 1400 or higher. ill sell you a brand new 1500 amp equivelent battery agm for almost 1/2 the kinectic branded battery about 180 plus shipping with a full warranty. they are made by kinetic for a different company that i wholesale for.

also, turn your gain down on the amp. I had the same setup you've got now and at best my gain was at half way.

you know how you said your gain was at halfway, what was the preout voltage on your headunit? mines is 2V.

i had same amp with a 75 amp alt, i set my gain barely higher then half, bass boost at 0, hu negative 3 on bass...worked fine for me...if ur car is started and the voltage is at 12.2 that dont sound too good it should sit at that with just the accessory without engine going
