There's a big difference between 6x8 and 6x9 speakers. 6x8's are usually used in Fords, and a few Mazdas and Chryslers. They're a bit smaller than 6x9's.
However, I am not a real fan of Rockford's speakers. For rears, you may want to look into MB Quarts, Kickers, Polks, and maybe Pioneers and Infinity. I'd actually highly recommend thePioneer Rev 6x9's. They're loud, clean and have a very smooth response. You may even want to look at the Pioneer Rev 6.5's for your front components. The Revs offer a smooth frequency response, good midbass and detailed highs at a very affordable price.
