What can my amp take

I have a directed 1500d(like 2003 or 2004) It's rated at 1200RMS at 1 ohm with a dynamic(?) power rateing of 1500 at 1ohm. What does that mean? Would this amp take a .5ohm load in like burp's at DB comp's and what would the power be at a .5 ohm load. 700rms at 4ohm 950rms at 2 ohm and 1200 rms at 1 ohm. I have been told directed under rate there amp's, It uses 3 30amp fuses.

i think ur amp will be fine @.5 for a burp. I doubt they underrate their amps, but i've been told they will do rated power...

i ran my 1500d at .5 for over 3 months driving every day with no problem. depends on box rise

What was the final load present to the amp including box rise?

The reason I ask, is I'm looking for a amp that will do .5ohm daily.
