what can i do????

As little a fan as I am of Audiobahn in general, the problem is more likely with the install (enclosure, wiring, charging system, cancellation issues or need for EQ, etc etc) than with the brand of speaker. I agree most Bahn stuff sounds bad (imo), but this doesn't sound like a SQ problem to me. Perhaps at high volume, the charging system's voltage drops too low to keep up with amplifier needs, for example.

But then again, it might just be the Audiobahn effect too. lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That did help my problem a bit, my voltage was dropping severely on certain notes. I added an capacitor and it did help somewhat. Then after that I went ahead and did the alternator and battery. That however really did not help either:( . Like I said after that it was hopeless, I had already spent to much money on their products and other upgrades. It also has alot do do with the model. I went through 3 different models and all had different consequences. Most Audiobahns require much more that 500 watts, I was pushing 1200 and it made no difference. Other than that in my opinion Audiobahn really is not worth the crap:) . I bought them for the looks, but looks dont give sound:) .

well i tried to put them in a sealed box this afternoon but that didn't solve the sound, so i don't know what to do next.

by the way i do have a capacitor and a yellow top battery

Well you have adequate power. I did the same with my subs, I went form a vented box to a sealed box and nothing. Now if you have the DVC subs, I think they are called natural sound subs to be honest those really are not worth the crap:rolleyes: . Those were the first model I had. I then went with the Flame Excursion model and got a liitle better sound, but it did the same eventually. I then went with the high model and nothing, and of course the higher the more power they need. Like I said earlier I have given Audiobahn every chance possible and was never satisfied. I spent a **** load of money on their crap and could never get my system to sound right:mad: . I went 3 10" Alpine Type R subs which are not to expensive and sound a hell of a lot better:D . Make sure you have them wired right to the amp ( impendance load ). I look at it on the bright side, I have a room full of nice shiney chrome audio eqipment:laugh: . I am not trying to be sarcasitic, take it from me who spent a couple of grand on their **** for nothing:banghead: .

ok i decided to go with another brand of subs, what brand do you think i should get?

what about memphis audio is that any good? a guy at an audioshop recommended those but i'm not sure i need a second opinion

any help is great

Me personally went from Audiobahn to Alpine Type R's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif and was completely satisfied. To me their subs hit harder and better sound quality:veryhapp: .
