what can i do????

I had an all Audiobahn system in my car and had the same problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . I thought maybe it was a power problem. I went and spent another $700 on a bigger amp and nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif . Well after about $2500 on Audiobahn **** I decided just to junk everthing and start over. I bought An all Alpine system and am a hell of alot more satisfied //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . Audiobahn products are all show but no sound quality.

We were not joking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . I tried everything for a bigger amp to a different box. I spent to much money on this **** to just junk it which is what I did anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif . Believe me I tried everthing to try to save my investment, but nothing. The sound seem to fade away after high volume.

clipping? and what does it mean for a sub to "sound pretty hard"?

hah you know.. the shit be bangin

but ive heard this a few times from people runnin audiobahn stuff.. these guys werent joking.. not sure what it is about em. what model do you have. most of the audiobahn subs ive heard sound like pure distorsion. im wonderign if they just reached their peak for the amount of power you have and cant get and louder (or distort any more) as the volume increases.

What exactally does your setup consist of amp, box and what model subs? My first set of subs did exactally what you are saying and they were in a vented box. They did hit hard but after high volume it would fade away //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . The excursion was so severe it looked as if the subs were going to come out of the basket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif but not loud. I then tried another model of subs with a sealed box and they did sound somewhat better in sound quaility, but did the same thing. I even tried a bigger amp and nothing. Then I finally decided after spending a couple of grand I was done with Audiobahn //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif . I guess it is the way subs are made I really dont know, the amps however are somewhat good though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

well do you think that it could be the wires that i used, because i'm using some cheap RCA wires for now maybe that could be the problem

my setup consists of a 500 watt amp and the subs are in a vented type box, i have all the factory audio in the car but the subs and amp i really don't know the model of the subs really but the amp is good cuz i had it in another car runnin a pair of pioneer subs and they sounded much better than the audiobahn
