What can i do with 2 blown kicker L5s?

A guy gave me a pair for free, 2 08 model L5 15"s each with one burned coil somehow. Does anyone recone them or anything?

Kicker can't recone sh!t except for the solo-x's. I've been able to recone kicker subs but it's a pain in the ***. The only other option is to put the motors on a standard basket and use generic soft parts.

Whats the specs on the motor? Are they worth a ****? Id like to learn how to recone maybe this will be a good experience. Ill send TeamPSI a message and see if he has anything.

i gave dave the conections to get the 10 and 12" sq cones, i didnt want to buy 300 @ a time. the L5 isnt worth reconing motor is really small...

i blew my kicker l7 and sent them back in to kicker and they fixed them? they were under warrenty and the came back with the same baskets. i had a mark on them to when i installed them
