Exactly, must be done like an ice cream truck. Horns are meant to be mounted on the roof, not behind the grill. It's causing harmonic distortion and blowing them. Put them on the roof, play circus music, and the kids they shall come a runnin....

Or maybe it's the audio gods telling you that horns behind the grill is a stupid ****ing idea....

You need a high pass crossover to block the low frequencies from getting to the horn tweeter. When the bass frequencies are played through that horn, it will damage it.

You need to lick your car battery terminals. They need to have some saliva on them in order for the battery to put out enough power for the bass. Make sure your tongue is touching both terminals at the same time. Saliva is a great conductor.

Also, you need a flux capacitor installed in between the horn tweeters.
