What can Goob do to make this site better

i would second a serious crackdown on post dumping. and getting reports handled faster also. thats why i dont list much for sale on here really. to many people dump on f/s threads and get away with it.

BS Nazi is great at shutting down reported threads that are breaking rules...just look at the classifieds now.

this is part of the reason this site isnt liked right here. i did report it. and it was taken care of. had bob saget known this he wouldnt have to be a ****.

people make a statement on here and they get tough guy answers like "quit bitching". me and mod bot know it was handled. but others need to chime in on subjects they have no idea on to make themselves feel bigger then others. gotta love the internet.

Remove post count completly.

Better organize the sections and sub sections.

Actively review and watch the site instead of jumping in to little to late.

Revert back the layout, I cannot stand the current.

Remove the rename option completely. Give rename ability to the staff and make a request thread for the action.

Also, keep in mind, just because something is reported doesn't automatically mean it will be deleted.

I believe there is a way to turn off rep in certian sections. Only allow it in the main sections, not the dome or classifieds.

In all Honesty Mike, do you think any of this will get done? We begged and begged and held our breath until we were blue in the face. I got so tired of the non existant drunk admin (mind you he had a friend die, but this went on for years and years) that I decided to make a cluster Ef. Those that hate me for it Im ok with, my intention was to get the admin to take note and step in. To actively maintain his site and not just dump it on a couple of members with extremely limited abilities. The site needed an overhaul then and he couldnt do it, its amazing how myself and a couple of other mods going on a rampage made him finally do what he should have back in 2004. Hell...Steve had been begging long before I came on board and took the high road and left. I couldnt do it, I had to make my point known since he wouldnt listen.

yea its not the report issue mainly within this site. its the attitude of the members who are prodominately on it. people post things and other come in for a flame fest. or get told to stop bitching and things of this nature. unless you can post a mature helpful post keep your fingers off the keys. once you fix the flood of immaturity on this forum it will get better. until then it is what it is.

its on the entire website not just the dome. the dome i could see, but in the other main sections with people asking for help it shouldnt be allowed. and it happens all the time.

I know for a fact that there are some major changes planned at the moment. Chris and I discuss this stuff on a regular basis.

It should be reported if there is a problem. I dont venture into the other sections most of the time unless something is reported.

Drama was good for the site. I liked him. As far as other changes I think splitting the classifieds is a good idea just for ease of use. I would like skins too, this one is just ugly.
