here's qa constructive suggestion....

back off on the rains a little with the classifed rules/moderation....... i was in the process of buying an old-school kicker zx360 to match another i just bought, when the thread got deleted. and it was in the stage, where we just figured the shipping and geting ready to pay. now, all record of the negotiation/agreement is gone (which has been of huge importance whenever something goes south on a forum dealing ime) and no way to get it back. all because he forgot to take a pic with his user name on it. a warning would have more than sufficed. next, the rules are kind of tighter than a gnat's a$$, and it seems like it will be next to impossible to do any buisness on here if they are enforced 100%. the way i read them, you will get banned for something as simple as glws, or i had one of those back in the day and it was bad-as$. imho, there's not real problem there, definately not ban-worthy actions. clean it up by deleting the post, if you feel the need. i'll continue perusing, even though i'm sure i'll break a ban-rule or 2, albeit not blatetly, so i think i should just expect to get banned for nothing sometime in the near future..... i just have a weird way about me, i'll admit, but i'm sure anyone normal in my position would just go find another furum to frequent, rather than deal with it, imho.......... one last thing- i noticed in your signiature (nazi-mot) that you are using 120 day total post deletion as a punishment......... not a good move, the way i see it. wht if the guy has done 4 months of technical assitance and other information/pictures/whatever? all that is gone for good..... and back to dealings- what if he was in the middle of screwing somone? well that kinda cleared evidence against him..... how about, if he just sold or bought something and the adress disappears? well someone is going to get the shaft.....

so, in short,

1- warnings work fine most of the time

2- keep in mind the importance of record keeping

3- people are not prisoners or robots...

The mod who deleted the thread should be able to undelete it once the rule is followed. The rules are there to keep transactions as legit as possible. IOW, for your protection. If the added work drives away some classifieds business, I think that's a fair trade for the site doing its part to make transactions as legitimate as possible. Nobody likes doing extra work, but even fewer people like getting scammed out of their hard earned money.

Unless Im told otherwise, I dont plan to ban anyone for a GLWS comment. But if Im told that is a rule to enforce, I will. Again, IMO a small price to pay to keep the classifieds legit, concise, and easy to navigate. I think resisting the urge to bump someone's post, even with a positive comment, is a pretty small thing to ask (again if it becomes necessary).

I dont think anyone here expects people to act like robots. In fact, the classifieds template is in place to allow people to keep uniform ads that are easy and fast to navigate through, while keeping member work to a minimum.

I know it's been mentioned numerous times but is it really out of the question for a sub-section in the dome that allows ******? I mean, I won't say the majority because I don't know, but I know a lot of people on this forum are 18+ and I think an XXX or uncensored forum would be awesome. Is there some way to lock it down so the advertisers don't have a fit about it or what? (It was my understanding that this was the reason we can't have ****** now)
