What brand sub L7 or JL W7?

Yes they are!! I sell way to much jl equipment all day long to know what they are capable of. Good woofers no doubt, but in terms of spl, the l7s are better. sq goes to jl no doubt.

you must not know how to install then.w7's will shit on L7's if the installer knows what hes doing.

I think the L7 will get louder than the W7, all install dependent though, but in similiar setups and depending on power, the L7 would prob. put up a higher number. W7 is a much much better driver though.

W7>L7....10,12,13W7 have GREAT SPL & SQ...and they sound hella better than a L7 would ever sound....L7's get loud but they are tiight....and the coils get weak after a while and the loudness will eventually wear off...as for the W7 they can take a beating as long as the power that you give them is reasonable....they don't let up at all...I've smelt burning voice coils on L7's after 20 minutes of playing time...but on my old 10W7's...never smelt voice coils after playing them.....so W7 > L7
