rockford was all i could get beside kicker and i swear against kicker so i went rockford i hear hreat things about knu if u can get it go with it id say

I know there is no best cable because everyone has there own personal preference, I'm just looking for opinions.

I wana upgrade my cables from 4ga to 1/0ga, I want to know everyone's personal preference and experience with brand name cables. I'm talking flexibility, strand count, quality, material composition, but most importantly price.

My cheap ass was actually going to call my local welding shop to see how much there 0awg is. I know its cheap, strong and flexible but I like color designation, basic red+ black-. I dont think they offer welding wire in red lol.

Why are some cables claiming copper but they look like there aluminum? I know there is aluminum clad Knu cables, but Street wire claims 100% ofc but yet the cable looks like aluminum? I know my cheapo 4ga soche kit is copper and it looks like copper too, not aluminum. does copper come in silver now a days??? either or really, if it's the right gauge, price, and is flexable enough.......use it.

Some of the ofc copper wire that looks silver maybe pre-tinned to prevent corrosion. If it doesn't mention that, odds are

Does Knu offer solid copper cables? If not that would explain why they're so cheap, your paying for dirty aluminum. Idc what anyone says, solid copper will conduct twice as efficiently as cad or pure alu. I think I'll just run down to my local welding supplier this weekend and check out their cables? If anyone can find some name brand like monster/rf/stinger for cheap let me know, because I'd prefer the bling bling if I can score some for cheap. I might just forget the welding wire(last resort).

I always trust in new....thread count is usually higher then most I've use...there 0 isn't just a thick ass rubber hose

the knu koloussus wire is all OFC.... I like knu and shok wire myself but I've used Stinger and Rockford wire and both were good as well

shok is expensive, its more than KNU kolossus. and shok is CCA and kolossus is OFC.

where did you find Shok reference for more than kolossus?

ok my bad, was thinking about the Shok competition wire lol. which is OFC but thats more than the kolossus, the reference is more that the KCA and KLMX.

you really can't go wrong with either though... I have my big 3 in KNU KLMX 1/0 and my runs to my amp in Shok reference 1/0... I think both are equally good

the shok dosnt explode when u strip it does it like KNU does
