What box type would sound best for Q2000 15D

I just purchased this sub, Quantum Audio Q2000 15D and I am not sure which type of box would provide the best possible sound and spl. Their site states to make a box 2.75 cubed tuned to 35 hertz but when I do the math to determine whether it's better in a ported or sealed box, it comes up sealed. Maybe I did something wrong, first time doing this and the box calculators are not the easiest to use since I don't have all the info they want.
