What are these wires?

Hey everybody I have these wires running into the trunk and I think I know what they are, but I'm not 100% positive. I bought this 2002 Ford Mustang (Non-Convertible) with a Mach 1000 Stereo system! I'm adding one 12" CVX with a Kicker ZX750.1 amp and I stumbled upon these wires here:

From what I can see there are:

(1) Set of power cables (+/-)

(1) Remote turn on? (Blue wire)

(1) Bass Knob Wire? (Phone-Like Plug)

(1) Set of RCA Cables where I could not find where they went!

Are those right? I'm really new to all of this stuff so correct me if I'm wrong. Also, if there are any installers in here that have worked with the Mach 1000 Stereo system how hard is it to get the sub/amp to work with the current setup? Thanks very much.

Rip it all out? Why? And so I don't make another thread, my CVX 12" can be wired @ 2ohms to my 750.1 amp right?

its not the best idea to reuse wires you found in a car you bought.. even though they look fine

Alright, and no I did not find a remote but I did see the end of the cable. It's under the steering wheel column tied together waiting for a knob I guess. The job looks very clean overall.

So about the subwoofer, I'm new to the C.A. thing and I'm wondering if my 12" Kicker CVX sub can be wired @ 2Ohms to my Kicker 750.1 amp

I'm taking it to a shop to get everything installed, so would they be able to tell if they are worth keeping/scrapping?

ditch it, the power and ground look like 8 guage anyway ..

probably too small for your amp

Alright, no problem. Last question was about my sub. I'm wondering if my 12" Kicker CVX sub can be wired @ 2Ohms to my Kicker 750.1 amp so this way I can get maximum output to my sub

if your CVX is a Dual 4 ohm woofer

It would HAVE to be Dual 4ohm and only Dual 4ohm?

Yes. It has to be a dual 4 ohm to run it at 2 ohms. You could un it at .5, but since that amp is only 2 ohm stable, that wouldnt work.

If the subwoofer is dual 2 ohm, you can run it at 1 ohm or 4 ohm. But seeing you wont see any power out of that amp at 4 ohms, and the amp wont run at 1 ohm, the sub has to be a dual 4 ohm configuration.
