im trying to find a recon kit for them i got a guy in my town that can put it on for me if i find them

Those are 1st-gen Rockford Fosgate Punch Powers, like mentioned above get them refurbished by someone and you can prob run at least 1000 watts RMS to each or more.

I heard the original Punch Powers' weakness was its suspension, that the xmax and xmech should of been more because the coil can take a lot of power.

back in those days on those used 1 amp per coil because big amps werent made...

when those subs were made there was the old orion hcca and us amps so it is possible with a amp per coil he could have put 3k each. those subs were b4 internet so he bought them authorised and prob paid bout $450-500 each...
