2-12"s vs 3-10"s?

I was wondering, what would be a louder, more efficent, and reliable set up? I have 2-12" rd alpha v3's on a saz3k right now. it's pretty decent. I was just considering different options! 2-15"s would take way too much trunk space. so I think I can do 3-10"s! I was thinking of the sundown sa 10"s (x3). do you (y'all) think it would be a louder, efficient, reliable set up than the 2-12"s?

why would u want a 3 sub setup? the less the better... just get 2 15's or 1 18

I think 2-15"s would need close to a 7 cf box. no can do. I have a car not a suv. 3-10"s would take a 5-6 'cf box. I'm assuming

Then use a sealed box.

3 10's is more motor, more cooling, more surface area. In the right box it's going to do more than 2 12's, period.

that was my assumption and the reason why i came up with the thought to do it!
