What are the crappiest/cheapest speakers?

Sadly, the $50 that would buy you that all-in-one Dual "system" is about the same $$$ as it would cost to eBay some used References like what the OP is apparently worried about.

The References aren't terrible but they aren't great by any means either. I cannot say that I would worry overly much about removing them from one car to install them in another. If he's going to spend the money on speakers anyway he ought to direct that expenditure to the new ride not the old one IMO.
