Gave my front stage an overhaul

So today I got my package from Mr. 6spdcoupe(Thanks!) and got crackin on getting my front stage revamped and added some new rear speakers in the back(I myself care about passenger comfort). Rainbow SLC 6.5s up front and Rainbow coaxs in the back. I deadened my doors and fully sealed them along with making a mdf mount for the midbass drivers. The only thing I am currently unhappy with is my tweeter positioning but I will live with it for now. here are the pics.

I cannot really give full impressions of the speakers yet, I need to allow them to break in and I would also like the have my settings tweaked. I can say that the midbass has improved a lot more from all the sealing and additional deadening of the door. It was a long wednesday and I would like to eat lunch now, ha.

Nothing I enjoy more than someone dumping some crappy CDT's for a little tasty Rainbow treat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

Where did you put the tweets anyway??

Thanks guys for the comments.

I swapped out my HDs because I was not getting the midbass I wanted out of them due to underpowering, and I did not want to switch my amp so I decided to purchase a set of more efficient speakers which from what I have heard so far sound a lot better. I also needed something a little shallower in the doors and the HDs definately are not that.

That is 3/4" MDF and yes my car door was open on the entire bottom section the length of the door. You can see somewhat of the outline in the first and second picture. I used a 5mm plastic sheet to seal the gap and then covered it in the raamatt(not sure if it is nessesary or not?) up untill the speaker opening.

The tweeters are actually mounted on the dash and upfire into the windshield, you can see where they are in the last picture. I want to almost mount them somewhere on my doorpanel but am not sure if I want to cut the whole in the panel since it is custom upholstered.

The last thing I need to do is figure out which sub I want to go with this time around, I dont want anything big or loud, but just enough to add that missing fill. I was thinking of doing a 10" in maybe a Rainbow just to keep the theme going, that or possibly a Diamond D6.... unsure as of now.
