We cant actually tell what you have heard of an what you have not...But there are plenty of brands around that u may not have heard of. All u have to do is be in th aforum for a little while and u will pick up on alot of them

morel, seas, scanspeak, crossfire, vifa, lpg, genesis, kove audio. a lot of this stuff is diy or higher end speakers though.

yeah i agree focal is not a widely known brand.

ok yeah ive been surfin forums for a while and a decent # of these brands im familiar with. but there are a few i have yet to come across in my day.

at this point im just trying to learn more about each brand, how they rank, and thier product lines. a ton of car audio knowledge is useless if your not familiar with whats out on the consumer market

Get out there and listen to some stuff then. Not to be a dick but that is a much better way to learn about products then most of the people on this website who haven't heard any of the products they talk about but instead repeat information that is most likely useless because they heard it from someone else unfamiliar with the product on this site. And Focal is not that uncommon, I bet you have a dealer somewhat nearby.
