whats wrong with this picture eh???

i pay extra for 2nd day express delivery, it's picked up on teh 8th @ 1:30pm....hmmm expected delivery on December 12th...4 days later....minus a sunday in there...THATS STILL 3 DAYS, NOT 2. WTF is the point of paying extra fro express delivery if its gonan take a day more than intended.

so i call customer service and even the customer service lady wasnt quite sure what to make of it. i told her it was for a car show and needed to be there (yadda yadda yadda, BSing her) and the best they could do is write a request to the shipper peoples explaining it needs to be there by monday for a car show...but even then its only a request, and with the busy holiday season, who knows...... i'm tired of ****ign waiting, it took TC soudns 2 god **** months to get around to make me a top, which thilo even told me takes them ONE DAY....after haveign told me itll be mailed a week ago.....if i wasnt getting such a good deal on the top assembly im getting i would have made huge deal out of it, but he DID hook me up on the price after sending my old good voice coil back into him and thus saving me a bit of money. im more pissed at fedex for this shit

is it me or is it just a liiiiiitle ****ed up that 2nd day isnt 2nd day?

Yeah, it usually works like that. 2 day takes 3+ days, and 5 day delivery gets there in 2. Just be glad that your package wasnt damaged.

in my experience all the fast day shipping crap is just a gimmick to get more money from the consumer... your best bet is to get the sender to ship asap

i always get mine on the "estimated date" with seconds to spare. if i get 5 day delivery and they stop delivering at midnight, i get mine at 11:58 on the 5th day

Yea, i hate FedEX. I would recommend DHL, but if not, UPS/USPS.

Yep...2nd Day air means It takes 2 business days, not two days. Dont count the weekend.

i even asked the customer service lady, isnt saturday a transit date? and she said yes....so 2nd day delivery i THOUGHT would mean: pick up friday transit, saturday transit, monday (maybe even just a lil more transit since im paying extra) delivered.....but i guess im asking too much...or just paying extra for bullshit

1st day would be monday the 11th

2nd day would be tuesday the 12th.

Not a damn thing wrong.

I do this for a living, you people can ask me anything about Fedex, UPS, or Any Freight carriers and I can definatly tell you.

Got home one evening and had a note from Fed Ex that I could pick a package up after 5:30. Got to their office about 6:30 and they had closed at 6. Pissed me off.

Don't think much of them. They don't seem to work with residential customers around here.

Not their fault that you dont understand the shipping process.

You should have gotten it overnited. Which probably would of cost and arm and a leg, but it would of gotten there on time.
