what are my rights when 5-0 f*cks with you...

Can we not turn this thread into a racial thing? It is actually interesting and helpfull at sometimes, we don't need bickering over racial issues in here.

Yea Cops are slow and can be real @$$Hole' s most of the time. I had 4 bikes stolen off of my porch and with in a month someone beat the hell out of the master lock that held my go-cart **safely** to my house and took it. (Leaving the gas cap about 5 feet away) When the bikes were stolen they shoed up pretty quickly but it took like an hour for them to show up after we called about the go-cart.

Since then I have built a device called the CrIpT CaRt. I have got neon underneath it and one night the fkn cops said that it was illegal to drive it on the street. WTF is a FKN modified wheel chair.

Also when I had my go-cart some old *** cop tried to ticket me for speeding, driving a unlicensed vehicle, having no insurance, having no seatbelt on (I actually had a seatbelt on it), and he tried to impound it. I lived right down the street and there was no way that it went over 25 because I had the low gear on. So it maxed out at about 10. Basically my mom talked him out of all that BS and I drove it 3 houses back home.

Ill post a picture of the CrIpT CaRt later?

hmm I dont see a single helpful thing in this thread... well maybe a couple posts that should be common sense. Seems to be another hate on the po-po thread, probably complete with 15yr old kids makin up stories //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

hmm are you one of the few unfortunate cops that discriminate?? cuz that was pretty pathetic.

Also, what useful, MATURE comments and advice have you offered?

how bout y'all follow the rules? You wont get a ticket for NOT breaking the law...
That was mature, useful, to the point and non-discriminatory. I am against all discrimination all forms, profiling to simple prejudice--but face it, this will still go on and by starting more police hate threads is not going to change a thing, cept maybe make you look stupid with your witless retorts, you are the pathetic one. No I am not a police officer yet, planning on being one yes, discriminating no....

Well, maybe you should take a minute to learn how to read before you become an officer. If you would have read you would have noticed that this isn’t a police hate thread, and is nowhere near it. Maybe some of the people’s left field comments could be taken as such, but the thread was started so that a fellow member could possibly retain his rights and freedoms and not be pulled over and ticketed for some non-existent bullshit.

if ur sayin they pulled u over for being black, with tinted windows and a cap......ur the dumbest person ive ever had the chance to have in my viewing. that is honestly...the dumbest thing ever.
sure is....tell that to the cops who pulled me over. now about this callling me the dumbest person....I'm gonna let that slide cause this is the **** internet. flame me all you want on the internet but let it be known if you wanna take it to the streets, we could get it done cause I don't take personal verbal and/or physical assault easily.

As cliche as "driving while black" may seem to you, it really does exist.

Even if this thread does become a "f- the police" thread, my original question was about a specific resource on criminal justice & have never stated in my posts "f- the police".

well maybe a couple posts that should be common sense.
common sense does not always equate to what's scribed in legislature.

I personally think cops do an amazing job in most cases, with of course some slip ups that may unfortunately be biased or even simple mistakes. I don't care for discrimination against age, ***, race, or even McDonalds employees(j/j)... I also find it very tender that you got so defensive. You DID discriminate, this is undeniable. You said that it was a bunch of 15 yr olds making stuff up, what is your mature reasoning for that?

I also enjoyed how you added the highly predictable "I'm gunna be a cop..." act. That's really too bad if you are, because thus far you've proven to be the *** that everyone is talking about. In all reality, not all authority figures are fully honest, let's not kidd ourselves.

However, I do agree with you on one aspect, obeying the law will obviously most often prevent any mishap.

If you have any negative comments or cheap come-backs, use your "mature" sensibilty to restrain yourself, especially if it's: "no, you're the pathetic one, teeheehee"

That's why you ask for a badge number, departement, get the vehicle number and a very descriptive explanation of what happened. Police CAN NOT, and I repeat NOT draw weapons on someone who is not threatening thier life. You have to be 1) in the position to cause immediate harm

2) Have the capability to cause immediate harm

3) Be in the state to cause immediate harm to thepolice officer or anyone else around.

Drawing weapons on citizens when it is not needed is a very serious offense for police, I know this from my uncle who is a Texas State Trooper and from the guys in security I know over here.

Not all cops are *****es, so if you call and report it or threaten to press charges with a lawyer, somethign will be done. When they ask for that car tape of the events that night, if you were infact truthful, they will get thier ***** handed to them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
not true at all----they call them felony stops. if they see you committing even a traffic crime and have ANY reason (fabricated or otherwise) they may execute a felony stop. happens all the time with no repercussions at least in my state. doesn't mean i agree with it but then again i don't give them any reasons to pul me over.

yea... i've read alot of these threads... and most of them say "I was doing something illegal, so I got pulled over.. WTF!".

I been there/done that... toned down the car, no tint on front windows... and the *main* thing about the system is killing the rattle. if they dont hear rattle... particularly in any sort of traffic... its *very* hard to tell where the bass is coming from.

Not to mention there are *alot* of 95-99 monte carlo's around here.

Have gotten a few "bs" tickets... the main was a sound violation where 1: I was asked by a neighbor to turn it down 2: I did 3: 10 minutes later the cops come (2 cars).. the system is *off*.. and after searching the car they decide to give me a $75 ticket. One of the cops wanted to just leave because nothing was happening... but one decided to be an @$$ and search the car, same one that wrote the ticket. Took that one to court, said what happened... still got a $40 fine.

Got pulled over in the MC once.. for speeding. Had been cruisin 80 for a little over an hour.. in a 65. Traffic was slim, but for the most part, everyone was going at least 75. Most of the time I was following somebody, but somewhere before I got shot with the laser, I ended up in front. Of course, everyone behind me was going the same speed... as we/they had been for ages with no trouble... but being the front car I got pulled over. The BS part on this ticket is they bumped me to 85, which is 20 over, which is a much more severe ticket.

In my old car... an 89 lesabre with 15" 100 spoke and whitewalls (mmm i miss it) I used to get followed *alot*... but the car was completely legal. I did get a sound ticket in that one, becuase it rattled like all hell.

But basically... follow the rules You wont get a ticket for NOT breaking the law..
