That is odd actually. Check here online metals Difference is $5 a square foot at .5" thickness.hrm... funny, the acrylic here is more expensive.
Then it wasn't the real thing...I was wrong about it being a DuPont trademark. It is a trademark of the Roehm company and it is spelled Plexiglas and Lexan is actually a General Electric trademark. My bad.o, and plexiglass has two "s" in the sheet i looked at last night.
