hey i went to Price Club today to picc up some DVD+Rs. the only ones they had were 100-pack spindle TDKs.. which come with a PRINT-ON LABEL on the whole CD. the first set of numbers on the inside ring of the CD read CPDR47G. upon research on the net i discovered someone saying that DVD+Rs starting with those numbers are CMC manufactured.. anyone know what that means???

PS - the 100-pack spindles were on sale BUY ONE GET ONE FREE.. 41 dollars

is ritek made my ricoh? I don't really remember. I did used to use some ritek DVD-r with the G04 dye and I really liked those. I've now switched to some Taiyo Yuden and these are kicking *** as well.

Complete shit ... Bought them assuming TDKs were still made by Ricoh and ended up taking them back after a couple discs started getting read errors within a few days ...
Stick to Ricoh or Taiyo Yuden ...
is it possible i can have success with CMC discs? i burned a couple of UFC knockout DVDs last night and they work fine.. for now that is. are all CMC discs the same? as in they will all crap out at some point? is it possible using them with my Plextor drive, i will get a better burn? is it possible CMC discs will become reliable? i cant return the spindles cuz i used like 3 already. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif so basically, all TDK is crap now???
