Some ******* probably dropping off cats out someplace that they adopted and now don't want. That happens here in the middle of a small town and out my parents in the middle of nowhere. There is no-kill shelters for that kind of stuff, happens here to dogs and cats all the time sadly.

I wouldn't doubt it people are real "winners" around here.... From what I have seen others say animal control is a joke out here so I won't even bother with them. Hopefully the little guy goes back into the woods.

One good thing about stray cats is they keep the snakes and mice/rats away. My parents dealt with a huge problem because a neighbor refused to get their cats fixed. My mom ended up trapping them and taking them to shelters because we counted over 30 at one point. My mom loves animals so for her to trap them means it was a bad situation. We had a stray here that I tried to keep alive but it went into the backyard and my dog made quick work of it. He thinks they are toys

Yeah my dog already cornered a larger one against the fence a few weeks ago and would have killed it for sure if I didn't grab her. I'm just worried about what diseases these strays might have that they could pass to my pupper.

Think that would be a good idea for me to get a trap or two.

I love the heat
It's 12 C (52-53 F) and raining so hard there are extreme weather warnings about it here today
I'll take 90+ over this crap any day of the week
Although I have to admit when you guys on the east coast get high temps the humidity makes it unbearable
We don't get the humidity out here so it's more comfortable when the temps get high
