I’d go with the c notes or one of the other speaker kits on p.e. you get a much better crossover design, better drivers, and a better enclosure. You’re paying for the cost of assembly on the other speakers. As cheap as they are they probably only use a cap on the tweeterI'm terrible at picking things and decision making... Need new computer speakers.

Some of their kits come with the baffle only or just the components. I wouldn’t change the baffle too much since the crossovers are designed with the baffle size in mind but you could port to the side. If strictly using near field I wouldn’t overlook the overnight sensations either.
