Thanks, though sundown and AQ don't rate them at .5 and say they are only 1ohm stable?

Crescendo is warrantied at .5ohm which is a big plus, I was just looking for something slightly less expensive with less power.

Sundown used to warrantee .5 ohm but people got carried away so that disappeared,

AQ is commonly run at .5 just search for it. It's prolly ran more at .5 than it is at 1 lol.

if you looking for less power than just wire it at a higher ohm, a lot of the lower power amps arnt stable at that, i know the mmats amps are, they are .25 burp stable as well.

I can set the gains to w/e I want... Less power generally equals less money. An AQ 2200 at .5ohm will give me what I need and is 160$ less than the crescendo 3kw. That is why I'm asking.

MMATS run at .5 too, they actually rate some like 1400.05 for a model name

MMATS has .5 stable amps...

MA Audio HK401sx - is 1800wrms @ .5 daily

MA Audio HK602sx - is 1800wrms x 2 @ .5 daily ( Stereo )

MA Audio HK802sx - is 3200wrms x 2 @ .5 daily ( Stereo )

I suggest the 1 of the MA Audio amps... They are WONDERFUL!

.... I have experience with the first 2 ( 401 and 602 - they are rated power )

In't there some old Orion HCCA amps that can go .25 ohm stereo and .5 ohm bridge? Can't figure out the model number.
