What Amplifier For This?

hey i just bought a 10 inch sub, its a 4 ohm, single voice coil, 1200watt 325 rms. I will be running it as a single sub and off of a facotry radio. What size/type of amp should I buy for this application. I am not familiar with subs and amps. Bridging an option with this? thanks for your help

all dont people dont know he difference between max rating and rms ratings so its better that he asked and got the response to get a 325rms amp instead of a 1200 rms amp we alll started from somewhere

Actually, when I started I was actually fucking literate, so when I would look at the manual and read, for example, "325 watts power handling", I would figure, "hey, I PROBABLY need an amp that outputs 325 watts"

It's not a matter of knowing anything, it's a matter of having ****ing common sense, which OP clearly doesn't have. If it says 325 watts, it needs an amp that does 325w. If you don't have the common sense to put two and two together there, you probably shouldn't be doing car audio, let alone breathing or reproducing.

That's why I don't understand these threads when the noobs come on here and ask "wat amp 4 2 kikr comp subs?" The numbers need to match up, there's nothing more to it...
