I understand that they are both not that powerful.

But from Under 150 for both amp and sub, which would hit better

and idk how rms works on 2subs.. so how much rms total would i get from the bass package??

The first amp (the one that comes with 2 subs) does 150 watts rms @ 4 ohms and the Jensen amp does 340 watts @ 2 ohms.

You'd be better off with something like this:

sub: RWE-302 - MB Quart 12" 1000 Watt Reference Series Subwoofer

This sub is rated for 500 watts rms and it can be wired to 1 ohm.

amp: MB Quart Car Audio DSC5001 "Discus Series" Mono Block Car Amplifier 500 Watts RMS

This amp will do 500 watts rms @ 1 ohm.
