I'd bet my life savings that isn't true. No way you're getting 3" of clean stroke from that sub...I'd be surprised if it can do 3" before reaching mechanical limits.

WTF at the chrome rings around them, is that just a trim ring like the rubber gaskets? I like everything else though.

it's optional and comes off. The pics of that thing don't do it justice... I ordered one and as soon as it came in I took look at it and ordered another!

I'm more interested in the baskets and motors, smokin deal for just those alone! Comon recone!

Well I saw these on sale and I am thinking of buying one for my daily driver build(1992 Oldsmobile 88).
I am unsure on what amplifier to purchase for this subwoofer that will be powerful enough to run it.

I want to run just a single sub.

Any suggestions on a amplifier for me?

My budget is $150 or so.

I'm going to run mine off the rear channels of a Hifonics ZXI 6410, running the front channels to my components... If you're planning on amp your front stage it'd be a good amp for you..s]
