What AMP?

Ok here is my dilema.....My friend gave me to two JL W3-D6, never used still in the box. I know it is a discontinued product and i am wondering what kind of AMP should i get? my price range is less than $300 cause i am a poor college student. I was thinking about the JL 500/1 amp and found some for less than $300 on ebay. But what is your take on this? need a reply ASAP. Thanx GUYS

the JL 500/1 is a descent amplifiers... especially if you dont know much about wiring subwoofers. 1.5 - 4 ohm roughly the same power. also, you dont need an upgraded electrical system to run a single amplifier.

that would probably be a good choice if you dont mind spending the extra cash for the JL name.

you could do any descent amplifier that is 2 ohm stable, and wire the subs in parallel (individually) then parallel them together also.

kicker kx600.1 is comming to mind. another descent amp to check out.

PG T500.2 comes to mind...~530 watts at 2 ohms.
