What amp?

I've decided to get the MTX 9515 subwoofer but now have the decision of which amp to get. I would like to stay under/around $250 shipped and ebay is definately an option. Any opinions? I've heard that Hifonics Brutus amp is probably my best bet (i know they are overrated). Thanks guys.

The PG is a little out of my price range....lowest I found was around $380. I'm looking for something around $250. What do people think about this Hifonics Amp http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2941 ?

I know its overrated, but do you think it would still send out 1000+ watts @ 2 ohms?

For that price point, I don't think there are many amps that can compete unless

you're willing to buy something used..

The 9515 is dual 4 ohm isn't it? I was going to say Refurb 1100D from ikesound. Bout $128 shipped.

You are looking at a true 500RMS from that hifonics amp at 2 ohm.

Yes the 9515 is dual 4 ohm but You have to be joking.......theres no way the hifonics amp is more than 2x overrated
