OK, so wire the two subs together to get a 1ohm load and you will be giving them 550 watts a piece. What kind of vehicle do you have. That is a **** good price for the amp stated by the way.

I have never heard the stereos in those cars, but have heard good things about how they sound. I personally would not replace speakers so new in such a new car .

I would not, IMO I would try to leave it as stock as possible considering it is so new. Most installs I have done the first thing I replace is the headunit and the front and rear speakers so that I know what it is going to sound like without subs. Then I go from there, get the subs that better match the sound you already have. I have not personally heard a stereo in that car, but have heard good about them. It all depends what kind of sound you like.

ok so a Directed Audio 1100D Class D Mono and 2ALPINE SWR-1242D that should be good with stock speakers in my car without a new car deck?

Those are just my opinions, try it see how it sounds for you. I would not take anything stock out of a car so new. What kind of box you using?

I would get someone to build you a box that fits those subs. The box has alot to do with the sound of the subs. You can have bada** subs and a bada** amp and it will sound like crap if you have sh**y box.

I build boxes, but dont have to much time on my hands to do it. I just built one yesterday, I got the plans from Moe Lester. I dont know how much he will charge you. I just got a set of plans to build it myself, if you know how you can do the same. Custom boxes can get expensive, but are well worth the money. Like i said earlier it all depends on what kind of music you like or how you like it to sound. All this has to do with what kind of box you need.
