what amp...

should i get for an 800w sub??? i have no idea about this stuff but the guy at the shop said i should get an amp a little bigger than 800w so its not running full pelt all the time... but i have no idea... plz help???

thinking a kenwood 800w... its second hand... price range is anything under $300 is great (being australian dollars)

i personally would go with a pair of treo tsi's. the best sounding sub i have ever heard for $100 each. or you could run three of them.

How much us dollars is 300 au dollars? Kinda hard for us to say because you will be paying different prices than probably all of us.

what are treo tsi's??? im very much a newbie at this sort of stuff... and are they in aus??? I live in a town not a capital city so my sources are limited as i dont wanna buy outside of town...

he has a post saying what amp, then he has another post saying what sub. its the same guy, and i got confused after looking at both of them a number of times, its late and i had a four hour english class today with a hobbit for a professor.

hey Ausie i suggest you just go with running some mtx 12's or some kickers but those might be more over your price range but as far as amps go best amps ive heard are soundstream , audiobahn , mtx , bazooka its all up to you though cause of how hard you would want your system to bang even

you should get out and hear products from zapco, arc, brax, etc...just for kicks to compare others too.
