What amp would you recommend for 1 12" 2 ohm comp VR 400w RMS/ 800w peak

What amp do you recommend for 1 12" Kicker Comp VR in a sealed atrend box for my 2005 dodge ram.

I definately know I will go with a comp VR and this box. The amp is still undecided at this point.

I was blown away when I heard a Comp VR 12" Sub in a Atrend DVRCF 12" Vented box powered by a memphis audio PRX11000 + a pioneer 6800 XBT headunit and Kicker DSC 2 way 6.5's.

I am thinking about buying one of these:

memphis audio PRX11000 for $299.99

renegade REN1000S $99.99

What other amps would you suggest? I am not really wanting to spend $300.00 on just an amp

I would get a 5 channel amp and power the front/rears/sub with it.

Or you can bridge the amp and power the fronts and sub.

The PPI/Soundstream/NVX five channels haven't let me down. They are less expensive than the Memphis and you get more power to your mids/highs.

I had a dual ten box like above and I was REALLY disappointed in it. Hopefully the single 12 does better for you. Just didn't have any low end.

Your buddies vented box is going to be way louder than your sealed.
