What amp Wattage for 2 different speakers?

I have some Kicker speakers in my car, the front ones are rated at 65W RMS and the Rear at 90W RMS. Im looking for a 4 channel amp. My question is If I get an amp that pushes 90W per channel will that be bad for my front speakers rated at 65W?

Depending on what HU you're using, if you went with the larger amplifier (90w x 4) you should be able to just turn down the gain some on the front channels.

I would go ahead and go with the larger amplifier. Pay attention to the gains and set them correct for both front and rear (for front, this may mean turning them down some) and you should be good to go.
