What amp to run active focal ps165 component tweeters?

I already have a pdx-v9 and plan on going active with an 80prs eventually, but that would mean I need another amp. I thought Id go get one for the tweets because they dont need much power and they seem pretty cheap. Can anyone recommend one? My focal tweeters only need 20wrms at the most, but I want something that is going to be clear with a high signal to noise ratio and hopefully some passthrough rcas or something to that effect. What do I do?

Are you running rear speakers? Otherwise tweets on 2 channels, mids on 2 channels, and then your sub channel. If I'm understanding what you're wanting to do correctly both your amp and the 80prs will be able to handle it.

Currently no rears, but Im planning on peerless sls 8"s in the rear doors. So focal 6.5s on 2 channels and sls 8s on 2 channels and the sub on the 5th. Also I was reading on diyaudio that if you run sls 8s in the rear doors you should bridge the channels and run mono, would this help any?

I already have everything except for the peerless sls 8s and a tweeter amp. My budget for a dedicated tweetee amp could be no more than $150, but Id prefer it to be under $100. As for dsp duties, im hoping my current hu can do ok. I was planning on buying the 80prs for around $250, but if Im saving money there it can go towards something else. Maybe some better 8s in the rear doors, but everyone says that those are the cats pajamas and theyre cheap, so hooray!

I realize there is no replacement for a subwoofer and that is why i have an upgraded subwoofer in the factory box. The rear doors are for midbass only. Would bridging the channels to run the midbass in parallel be a good idea or is this what youre saying would sound like poop? Ive read other places that having midbass in phase with the midrange can have a cancellation effect and putting the midbass on mono or out of phase will have better results. Is this correct or am I being misled or Im misunderstanding something?

its gonna sound like poop because the midbass is draging all the attention of the soundstage to the back messing up the whole soundstage completely.

So midbass is fine as long as its in front of you? Why is it different for bass to be behind you and midbass should be in front? The reason I was going for midbass in the rear doors is because Ill have the 6.5s and tweets in the front doors and I didnt want to modify the door panels to fit the midbass drivers. Ill go ahead and install the focal comp set and see how that runs but Im used to having music played around me and not just in front of me, so its hard to get my head around why the front is better.

The word is omni direction. Look it up as it pertains to audible frequencies.
