what amp to get

I am getting two kicker cvx 12 inch dual 2 ohm subs. So i am gonna need a 1,500 watt rms amp. Should i get a crunch or hifonics amp? The subs are going in my backseat and the amp is going in my trunk. I dont really have a brand preference on the amp cuz its going in my trunk and noone will see it. If you have any suggestions on amps let me know

There are a few options you can go with in this situation, all that you need to focus on is how much to spend. I, personally, would not recommend the crunch amps because i've heard more negatives about them then positive. The hifonics are decent but are said to be overrated and only put out about 70-85% of the power they should.

There is the hifonics BXi2607 which is rated at 1700w @ 2ohm so should be similar to what you need and can be had for 430 here :

If it were me in your situation I would personally go with the Kicker ZX1500D, while it's the most expensive one I posted, it's very efficient and puts out more than its rated for and is probably the best amp in the list above. But hey, if money is tight, the soundstream will keep you happy

Alright man thanks. Im thinking of going w/ the kicker 1500.1 but im getting it from onlinecarstereo.com cuz its only $437.00 and it comes w/ a year warranty.
