What amp should I use for my subs?

I have 4 subs each putting out 250 rms each. What type of amp should I use to power them to get optimal performance that wouldn't be too much money? Should I use multiple amps? The subs are 4ohm single voice coil.

Get an amp that does 1,000 @1ohm

So one mono 1000watt amp can power 4 subs?

hifonics brutus is a good amp and will push them nice and dont cost to much

No It will power many if you wanted

once you wire your subs to 1 ohm. there will only be 1 wire coming out to the amp.
