what amp should i buy?

im getting two 12" rockford fosgate p2's.what size and brand amp should i buy to power these,and should i get them in 4 ohm or 2 ohm? one other thing i dont wanna break the bank on the amp thanks.

one of my friends has a p400-2 for 2 12" p3s and it hits hard and its not even half of what it can handle. ill say a p400-2 is fine for 2 p2s if you want to keep the sub and amp both fosgate

I have the sony Explode mono amp it is 800 watts of power. it is pushing 2 JL audio 12's. When I bought this amp it cost me around 350. dollars. You can get it oline for around 160 now I promise you will not be disipointed. Scottaudio74
