What amp(s) would go well with 2 10' Alpine type r's?

I have owned two 10' alpine type r's (4 ohms) for the past year and a half, but purchased two kicker amps that have only been powering it at about 300-350rms, wen the sub goes 500 rms each, 1500 max. I was looking at purchasing two Alpine MRP-500's, but they only give 300 wats rms for 4 ohms. Is there any way i can set it up at 2 ohms, as the amp puts ou t 500 wats rms for 2 ohms. If not, does anyone have any sugestions as to an amp or amps i could buy for my subs. Thanks

Are your subs the 4 ohm dual voice coil subs or the 2 ohm dual voice coil subs?

4 ohm dual voice coil subs, and i have two mono amps, one for each sub, they were pretty cheap at the time for the money i could spend but now i have the money to upgrade

Audioque 2200 with your subs wired to 1 ohm

Do you have any electrical upgrades? If not you will need some.

4 ohm dual voice coil subs, and i have two mono amps, one for each sub, they were pretty cheap at the time for the money i could spend but now i have the money to upgrade

wire them down to one ohm

Just wire them to 1 ohm and get one amp. and for upgrades get 1/0g wire and do the big 3

Capacitors are a waste of money they do more harm then good.

You cannot wire a DVC 4ohm sub to 4ohms. it's either 2 or 8
