lol no I dont...I still haven't carpeted the ***** yet. I might end up going sealed though my old ears can't take this box much longer. not to mention trunk space would be nice if I end up out of state for law school.

I "designed" the box to "optimize" the awkward trunk the 5th gen maxima has. my original plans were to stain this birch wood and make it double as an HT setup one day but laziness set in.

yep. got it soon after it came out. I love it. too bad all the stock was sold at superlow prices and hurt the value of this sub. I paid $326 shipped new a year ago and it was worth every penny IMO.

just a DEI 750D(600 watts rms)...I was gonna sell it awhile ago but Ikesound and other places got alot of refurbs of this model in and I would not get shit for selling it. Thought about going with an amp with around 1k at 1 ohm but not sure if I need it...unless I do go sealed.

ported boxes show skill and workmanship imo i would never run sealed for one any other box is louder if done right and it has noob riten all over it

yep. this was my 1st ported box...and I built it but I think I want some sick low end so I might go with a big sealed box for some nice bottom end in movies like top gun.

Yea, fellow maxima owners! I've got a 1999 4th gen. non-bose maxima and was wondering the maximum dimensions for a box between the wheel wells and trunk lid bars.

BTW, my sub box looks crooked in my trunk b/c it pushes down the week wood above my spair tire...is there any quick fixes?
