What Amp?? I need one soon!!

What amp would you recommend I get to run 2 12' Kicker CompV dual 2 ohm subs. I have a Pioneer amp running them and when I try to turn up the volume to really get it going, they cut out. I have them run in series, so there running at 4 ohms. I think my amp is way to weak. It only runs at about 250watts at 4 ohms. Please help me out! Thanks!

wire them to 1 ohm if your amp is stable at 1 ohm

It's not 1 ohm stable, only 2 ohm stable.

When you say Comp v's are you talkin about regular comps or comp vr's or comp vx's?

Big difference between any of them

If their regular comps, I had 2 12'' comps pushed by the 300.1 zx kicker amp. Nice amp for the money, and actually if you're interested I could sell you mine. Only had it aobut 6 months, but I got a bigger amp now.

but back to the comps, if their regular comps their 4 ohm subs, svc, and can take more of a beating than that pioneer amp.

cvr's you'd want higher than my 300.1, and cvx's you'd want higher than the 1250.1 i just got.

They are the CompVR's. I was thinking about getting the Kicker 750.1. You think that would be enough power? I was also thinking about the Hifonics 1260
