what amp for my new rl-p? d4

just picked up an rl-p locally with a box made by mr marv for 240 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif the box is 1.5 cu ft tuned to 34hz... what amp should i use to power this sub? its d4 so im gonna need something that does 600-1000 @ 2ohms?

i just installed a pg xenon 200.4 on my rlp15" yesterday and love it. Each vc gets about 450rms of a/b power!

I dont know about this but what about a nine.2x instead of a Nine.1 - that will make sure your using your amp to full potential and you can save money. But for that Rl-P you might want the extra reserve power of the nine.1. If your on a budget the nine.2x might work well.

Get the 9.1 My rlp seems to take all the power i give it with ease. Headway is good if you plan on upgrading or if you think more power is a good idea for your setup. Anything that puts out 600 watts at 2 ohm will get the rlp moving a good bit. Ive hooked it up to a jbl 601.1 and my sansui amp and it moves just as much as it does off the 9.1. Judging from the box size you stated im guessing you have a 12" version. What is your budget for an amp so we can better help you?

honestly, im trying not to spend that much money on an amp... if i can find something in the classifieds that outs out a little over 600 for less than 150 that would be great... i might pick up a kicker kx600.1 today for 130, some guy is selling it locally. should i jump on it?

yeah... he flaked on the price, he told me his friend offered 200 and i said no thx, good news is though i picked up a profile cl1200 from a local guy on sounddomain forums for 100 bucks.... its a 2 channel that is stable @ 2ohms bridged putting out about 1200 wrms @ 14.4 volts.... i know its profile but it gets the job done and the sub is sounding great and loud
