one of the old ones? is it 4 ohm or 8 ohm?

i was going to wire it at 2 ohms tho. i had a guy at a car audio store tell me i could get more bass out of the sub and not blow it up, i know the guy so im going to trust him and i have a 3 year warranty on the sub.
