what amp for Alpine type X

Threw my JBL 1200.1 on my friends Type X and it sounded awesome and it wanged.

Haha, i heard it the orion 1200d sounds nice with that.

Its funny his type x is getting the same amount of wattage my type r is getting:eek:mg:

The only thing that sucks about the BP series is the Xover settings are **** hard to change...I installed one in a friend's Intrepid, and laying on my back crammed halfway up in his trunk while trying to see the badly-marked setscrews wasn't exactly fun. But if they're out in the open, I'm sure it's much easier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That, and they don't have an onboard SSF...though a Harrison Labs FMOD could take care of that if needed.

You know those two are my only complaints about this amp. I like it because of the durability and the price. I do agree with you about the markings for the gain, x-over, and bass boost (eh who cares about the markings for the bass boost). They are rather difficult to setup. One of these days, Ill probably pick up different amp that is easier to setup. As for the Subsonic filter, man I really need that since I have ran ported. Have anymore info on that FMOD? Found one on ebay for $35 shipped

yeha same problem with me.This is a really durable amp, i love it.
