what amp for a re se 12"?

well after a bit of researching..i finally settled for a single re se 12". I was looking for a sub that had a reallly good sq feedback.

I will be ordering it in a couple of days and now i'm trying to find out what amp to get. The re se is a dual 4 ohm...but i know nothing of the ohm stuff. What is a good amp that is the best bang for the buck, and doesnt tend to have problems?

one more questions...is a bass controller bad for the sub/amp?
