What amp for 2 Eclipse SW8102DVC's?

I am looking to buy 2 10 in. Eclipse SW8102DVC's and i am thinking about the ecplise 1100 watt amp. Should I get this or something around 800-1000 watts? Any help or thoughts would be great. Thanks.

I have not heard good things about eclipse amps. I own a SW8122DVC and I have it running off of 600 watts courtesy of diamond audio 600.1. Very pricey but it has never been warm to the touch. I would look into a hifonics bx1000D. Many people on the forum have hifonics and claim they are good amps. My friend has one and it has been reliable for a couple years. Just get an amp that will do at least 1000 watts at 1 ohm.I'd go with 1200 watts.

Thanks i was also thinkin 1200 but eclipse only had 1100. I was also wondering is anyone else heard anything about the eclipse amps?

I know that Eclipse makes nice subs and a killer HU(8443) but I haven't heard too much regarding their amp capabilities... They may very well be a clean amp but I have yet to find an amp that matches the JL1000/1 in ability. Th JL will move those subs with authority and precision because it's got the solid power and has a great dampening factor for a class D. I'm assuming you have a really good HU at this point - more than 5V output on the pre-outs...
