What amp do I need??

I have an alpine 350W 8" Type-R Dual 2 ohm Subwoofer... What amp do I need to power it thanks suggestions on brands and links would be great!! Thanks

Ps it's in a ported enclosure if that is needed info.

I put 1000 rms on a 12" new 5th generation type r and it lasted 2 weeks, had about 5 days of playtime on it until the surround blew off and was flappin like grandmas lips with no teeth, gain was at 1/4 on amp! I had it hooked up prior to that to an Alpine MRP-M500 which was close to 600 rms, and it did great, no issues. Imo, I wouldn't run much more power than that. Good luck!

Depending on what vehicle and the stock alternator out put,,the Big 3 may be needed or a bit larger battery or both to help maintain voltage.Ive seen issues with a 500 watt amplifier installed creating voltage drops and dimming of lights

There are always anomalies outside the norm. Issues at 700 would def be outside the norm. No reason to start throwing up red flags on an outside chance of electrical issues.

In the unlikely chance there ARE problems they can be dealt with at any time.

Out of the norm of all vehicles??Every vehicles electrical is different, and Ill say this..Getting more than Maxed out and chittier the newer the vehicles are getting..upon The Norm..As Ive said and stated..Ive been around quite a few amps and installed over several years, and nothing surprises me more than some of the cheapest stock electrical systems and most taxed that Ive experienced within the last 10 years Pretty depressing to be honest..As far as a decent amp for the money,and a class d..Id recommend this amp
