what am i doing wrong?

I'm a newbie here and to car audio in general, so i need some sound advice. the setup im currently running in a BMW X5 consists of 2 sets of infinity kappa perfect 6.1 components, 2 kicker zx450.2 amps for the components, 2 12" kicker l7 subs, 2 kicker zx750.1 amps for subs, and a pioneer n3 head unit. the problem that im having is with the components. they are not loud enough. they are loud, dont get me wrong, but the components tend to distort too often. im not sure if the amps are too much for the speakers or visa versa. basically what im looking for, are a set of components that can get crazy loud are a good match for the zx450.2 amps which are rated at 150rmsx2@4 ohms and 225rmsx2@2 ohms. midbass is not a real concern because i get plenty of bass from the subs. the kappas have really really bright highs which is ok, but no bass at all considering the size of the woofer. i would really like to stick with the amps but the speakers are on life support. any advice would be appreciated. thanks
