What am i doing wrong?

So i was just browsing vids of 12" Qs playing and i have nowhere near the excursion some people do. Ive played Jeezy - put on, and i only see about 1/2" - 3/4" peak to peak. It may seem like a dumb question, but maybe someone knows about a setting i am missing or throw out some ideas of things for me to look at.

Setup is:

12" Q D2 w/ saz 1500

Box is 2.0@32hz

Gains set 50/62 vol, 1400wrms (37vac) with 60hz -6db tone using oscope

xover 63hz/12db slope.

EQ flat, no bass boost, sub level at +6

This kind of concerns me as i was pondering going with another setup, but seeing alot of these vids, i must be setting/doing something wrong.

Any ideas?

From what I read, the closer to the tuning frequency of a vented box you are, as long as the woofer is designed to operate at that freq, you actually get less excursion. Most of the sound is actually created by the port.

I think based on your setup, things are working correctly.
