I would say that if your lights aren't dimming don't worry.. Do a little test by turning on headlights, AC, defroster, all electrical devices, If the lights dim a lot, you could have a problem, and the alternator/battery could be harmed. If it doesn't dim that much, you don't need a bigger alternator. I recommend like 120 Amp if you do get a new 1 though. I have a stock 70 amp alternator, that I had to replace from the original.
